Happy last day of November! Our toy drive is ending soon & we still have a bin to fill! 

The Sociology Club has partnered with the Noblesville Fire Department to collect new toys for Noblesville kids ages 0-18. Any donations are appreciated & can be dropped off in rm. 2210 by Tues. Dec. 6th.

The Harvard Young Leaders program is an intensive virtual program spread over 2 weekends for high school students to create impactful change with project based and experiential learning. The program is rooted in a uniquely designed curriculum for high potential students from grades 8th to 12th which will help them to think through problems critically and to creatively come up with actionable solutions, under the guidance of qualified Harvard mentors. The program will enable students to work in groups and network with like-minded peers from across the world, develop leadership and communication skills, and hone their analytical and creative thinking skills. This Saturday morning, December 3rd, NHS will be hosting the SAT- College Entrance Exam.  Those students who have registered for this exam should enter the building through the Main doors (Gate 1) by 7:45 AM.  Testing begins promptly at 8:00am. Testing will take place in the English wing.

  • Test Room assignment lists will be available in the entry hall when you arrive on Saturday.
  • Cell phones and their use are not allowed at any time during SAT testing. If you have a cell phone, please leave it at home or in your car. If you do bring a cell phone or any other electronic device, please be aware that it will be collected by the test administrator prior to starting the exam and will not be returned until the exam is over.



Remember to bring:

1- Admission ticket from the College Board, printed from your online registration. You will NOT be admitted without your admission ticket

2- Picture ID - Driver's license or school ID. You will NOT be admitted without a picture ID

3- #2 pencils

4- Approved calculator - you will not be allowed to go to your locker on Saturday morning so please plan ahead.

 

Testing will end at approximately 12:30pm. Check with Mrs. Stoffel in the Counseling Office if you have any questions.

 

 

 

The Tabletop Gaming Club is having their last meeting this week on Friday, December 2nd. I'll include the info below:

On Dec. 3rd, the Noblesville Students for Life club will be holding a movie night fundraiser for their annual trip to the National March for Life. Admission is free and concessions are available for purchase. The movie being shown is It’s a Wonderful Life. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend. Doors open at 5:30, and the movie starts at 6:00. The event is being held at Life Church Noblesville. We hope to see you there, Millers!

 

 

The Latin Student Union is having a meeting on Wednesday, November 30, in the LGI. Remember to Request a pass from Sr. Doering for 2:30 during AL. 

 

 

Hey Millers!  Start your morning off with a delicious baked good and cup of coffee this Thurs. and Fri at the Coffee Mill in the library. The Sociology Club will be selling baked goods and coffee before school until 8:35 am both days this week. Teachers can beat the rush; the Coffee Mill opens at 7:45!! We'll also be accepting toys for the toy drive while we're there!!

The Noblesville Students for Life club will be holding a meeting and Christmas party during AL on Friday, December 2nd in room 1246. Remember to request an Ehallpass from Mrs. Ellis before the meeting. We hope to see you there!

 

 

 

The NHS 6th annual Toy Drive has begun! The NHS Sociology Club has partnered with the Noblesville Fire Department to make sure the season is bright for all Noblesville kids. Please bring a new toy to donate to Mrs. Gilbert's rm 2210 between now and Tues. Dec. 6th. Toys can include sporting goods, books, crafts for ages infant to 18 yrs. and must be new. Please join us in the spirit of giving back to our community!

 

 

 

Students interested in reading the next books for Miller Reader Club should stop by the library to pick up their FREE COPIES. If you take a book, you commit to a required book club meeting. We only have 20 copies, so only take one if you need one and can come to the meeting. The books the club chose are both by Natalie D. Richards - One Was Lost and Five Total Strangers. See Mrs. Misetic in the library if you have any questions.

 

Sophomores and Juniors - are you interested in attending a summer scholars’ program at Notre Dame University? Summer Scholars participants spend two intensive weeks on Notre Dame's campus taking a challenging college-level course taught by Notre Dame faculty. Financial aid is available and the deadline to apply for admission is February 13, 2023. Visit precollege.nd.edu for application materials and more information.

 

 

Students interested in traveling to Germany, Switzerland, France and the Netherlands over Spring Break 2024, there will be an information meeting Tues. Dec. 6th at 7 pm in Mrs. Gilbert’s rm. 2210. You can also stop by Mrs. Gilbert's rm. 2210 for trip information.

On December 2nd during AL, there will be a Boys Track and Field call out in Coach Kenley's classroom. We will cover all things for the upcoming season and go over winter schedules. Please request a pass from Coach Kenley or Coach Muhvic to attend. If you can't attend or you are in a winter sport, that is fine. Reach out to Coach Glaub for information.
