Lunch money to deposit?

Place checks or cash into an envelope with your name and student ID number on the outside .

Envelopes should be sealed and go into the lock boxes by student services or by the doors outside Jr./Sen. cafeteria.

If you place cash into these boxes with no name, we do not know what account to deposit the money into.

 

Students Against Cancer and Riley Dance Marathon are pairing up to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Show your support by wearing PINK to the football game on 9/30.  There will also be buckets at the concession stands, so bring some extra dough and contribute if possible.  All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.  Don't forget to show out in PINK!!!!!!

 

The Muslim Student Association will be having a meeting on Tuesday, October 4th during AL in room 1219. Make sure to request a pass from Miss Aprill to attend. 

 

We have an Asian Student Union Meeting this Friday, September 30 in Room 1237. Request an e-hall pass from Mrs. Hoshiko.

 

This week is College Go! Week. Throughout the week, we will be sharing information about College Go! Week via the morning announcements, playing college fight songs to start and end the day, dress up days and a college wings selfie wall. The wall is made from college pennants from all of the colleges that each teacher at NHS attended. We would love for you to take your picture and share it with us!

 

We would also like to invite you to wear your college spirit gear throughout the week or participate in each dress up day... 

  • Monday:  HATS off to College Go! Week - wear your favorite hat
  • Tuesday:  Your Future is Bright - wear Neon
  • Wednesday: Military Appreciation Day - wear camouflage
  • Thursday: College Day - wear something that represents your favorite college
  • Friday: It's Cool to Stay in School - wear your Miller gear!

 

The Noblesville Students for Life club will be holding a meeting during AL on Thursday, October 6th in room 1246. Remember to request an Ehall pass from Mrs. Ellis prior to the meeting. We hope to see you there!

 


Students Against Cancer will have a meeting on September 28th at 2:40 in room 1060.  We will be getting ready for the PINK OUT game, so please be sure to come.  Make a pass with Ms. Fotiades's name.  

 

STEM Today and Tomorrow Club. The meeting will be on Wednesday September 28th, 2022. If you could also mention that the students will need to request an e-hall pass from Miss Foye in room 2249 at 2:40pm to attend and that if they have any questions they can email me, Caroline Thompson or Miss Foye.

 

Calling all plant lovers! NHS Houseplants and Garden Club will be hosting a callout on Sept. 28th in Mrs. Smeathers room (2076) at 2:40. Interested students should send an appointment pass request to Mrs. Smeathers (shelbi_smeathers@nobl.k12.in.us) by 2:00 on September 28th. There will be candy at the meeting! 

 

Please complete your 2022-2023 State Mandatory Training by October 7th. Assignment is in the NHS Student 2022-2023 course.  

 

NHS will be hosting the SAT on Saturday, October 1st. Seniors, this is a great opportunity for you to have scores in time to submit college applications as well as scholarship applications! Go to sat.org to register without a late fee by Friday, September 2nd. The late registration deadline is September 20th for an additional fee. If you are a 21st Century Scholar; or qualify for free/reduced lunch or textbook assistance, email Mrs. Stoffel for a fee waiver code.

 

Attention Seniors:

The Indiana University Wells Scholars Application is now available. The Wells Scholars Program guarantees the full cost of attendance for a period of 8 semesters of undergraduate study at IU Bloomington. The award includes Fall and Spring tuition, mandatory and course related fees for a standard course load of 12-18 credits, as well as a living stipend during the Fall and Spring sufficient to cover the cost of a standard double dorm room contract and a standard meal plan in the residence halls.

Up to two students who complete the Wells Scholars Program Application will be nominated by Noblesville High School to submit a formal application to Indiana University. In order to be considered in this first round of the application process you must submit your application via canvas by September 30, 2022. Students applying for this scholarship must also submit their admissions application to IU-Bloomington by November 1, 2022.

SPORTS:

Any student interested in joining the Noblesville High School swimming and diving program is invited to the call out meeting that will be held on Thursday September 29th at 4:15pm at the high school pool.

We will have all of the important information for the season along with us collecting your contact information. If you have any questions until then feel free to reach out to the Head Coach at aleks@noblesvilleswim.com.

We will also be offering some preseason open swim times along with preseason strength workouts. Any student taking part in preseason work must have their information completed in Final Form. Information for that is attached to this email. Those dates are as follows:
