Anyone interested in learning more about future careers should check out the STEM T&T callout meeting on e-learning Wednesday, September 22 at 3 p.m. on zoom! Throughout the year, there will be guest speakers from various STEM career paths along with college students to provide insight to put you on the path to be successful.

Join Best Buddies for a call-out meeting on Sept. 23 during AL to learn how you can connect with new friends who have intellectual disabilities. These will be some of the best friendships you will ever have! You can pick up a pass for the call out meeting from Mrs. Hensley in 2222 or Mrs. Meyer in 2209.

NHS will be hosting the SAT on Saturday, October 2nd. Seniors, this is a great opportunity for you to have scores in time to submit college applications in addition to scholarship applications! Go to sat.org to register by Friday, September 3rd. The late registration deadline is September 21st for an additional fee. If you qualify for free/reduced lunch or textbook assistance, email Mrs. Stoffel for a fee waiver code.

- Butler will be visiting on September 9th from 2:30-3:30 CCR1
- Wabash will be visiting on September 13th from 2:30-3:30
- Valparaiso will be visiting on September 15th from 2:30-3:30 CCR4
- Ball State University will be visiting on September 21st at 2:30
- Grace College will have a virtual visit from 2:30-3:30 on September 15th (Mrs. Reiss will email the link to the meeting.)
- Marian University will be visiting on September 23, 2021 from 2:30-3:30
- IUPUI will be visiting on September 27th from 2:30-3:30 Main Conference Room 1
- Johnson & Wales will have a virtual visit from 2:30-3:30 on 9/27/21
- Purdue will be visiting on September 29th from 2:30-3:30 Main Conference Room 1
- Manchester will be visiting on October 7th from 2:30-3:30
- The University of Alabama will hold a virtual visit on Oct 25th from 2:30-3:30

Sports:
The NHS Esports program is back for Fall 2021! We have a new coach this year, Mr. Hancock who is a former member of the NHS E-sports team. E-sports is an after-school activity that runs like an athletic team. Being on this time requires a commitment to attend practices after school as well and evening and weekend competitions. This season, we're looking to host League of Legends, Valorant, Super Smash Bros, and Rocket League. Each Tryout session will start after school should take 2-3 hours depending on how many people show up. Tryouts will be hosted in the Library Computer Lab on the following dates: Tuesday, September 14th: League of Legends Tuesday, September 21st: Valorant Thursday, September 23rd: Super Smash Bros & Rocket League Please complete this form if you are interested in trying out!
