2026 Hall of Fame Honorees

Noblesville Schools has announced four new honorees as their Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

The honorees are:

Chris Beaver

An NHS graduate, Miller Ambassador, district sponsor, and president of the Miller Backers athletic boosters, Chris Beaver represents a legacy of giving back to the Noblesville community that spans five generations. An active donor with the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation and leader of the Noblesville Masonic Lodge, he has been a tireless advocate for Noblesville students and staff. Chris is known for his hands-on dedication and can often be found running concession stands during events. He has been a significant and longtime contributor to Noblesville Schools in many roles including as a student, athlete, parent, coach, business leader and philanthropist.

Sally Crow

Sally Crow taught Language Arts at Noblesville Schools for over 30 years, but her commitment to excellence extends far beyond the classroom. She has mentored fellow teachers, supported numerous extracurriculars including Spell Bowl, and led the NHS Girls Golf team to two state championships. Already a member of the NHS Athletic Hall of Fame, her coaching led to NHS securing the first IHSAA championship in 1987 for any Noblesville girls' team. In retirement, Sally continues to be an active community leader, volunteering with Riverview Health for over 20 years, and supporting many organizations and causes in the Noblesville community.

Fred Farley

Throughout 34 years of dedicated service, Fred Farley supported multiple schools as a facilities supervisor and also led the district’s Transportation Department. He was known for both his operational excellence and his strong personal connections. A quiet leader, he transformed school maintenance into an opportunity for mentorship, famously engaging students with magic tricks, classroom reading and secret handshakes. From hosting staff hayrides to his recent leadership award from the State of Indiana, Fred’s legacy is defined by his servant’s heart and a commitment to ensuring everyone in his school felt welcomed.

Bruce Hitchcock

For over 40 years as an educator, Bruce Hitchcock challenged his students to think critically through social studies. Known for his high standards, written essay assignments, and his "Devil’s Advocate" approach to questioning, he fostered in his students a deep appreciation for American history. To extend learning beyond the classroom, Bruce created the Washington, D.C. study program. By leveraging his connections with government leaders, he provided unparalleled access to national landmarks and began the district’s DC trip tradition. His enduring legacy lives on in the generations of engaged citizens he inspired through his passion and commitment to excellence.

“We’re honored to recognize the significant contributions of these special individuals who have played an important role in strengthening our schools and the Noblesville community,” said Dr. Dan Hile, superintendent of Noblesville Schools. “We look forward to celebrating their induction into the Hall of Fame with their family and friends later this year.”

This is the second year of the district’s new Hall of Fame program, which celebrates the legacy of those who have positively impacted the students, staff and overall success of Noblesville Schools. The district solicited Hall of Fame nominations from the community, and a selection committee chose individuals who best demonstrated exceptional service, support, accomplishments or contributions to Noblesville Schools.

The Hall of Fame initiative is a collaboration between Noblesville Schools and the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation (NSEF). The new Class of 2026 honorees was announced at NSEF’s Miller-Palooza event on March 13.

The district plans to induct the Class of 2026 honorees at a celebration this fall at their new Hall of Fame Courtyard outside of the Noblesville Schools Community Center.

Last year’s Class of 2025 Hall of Fame honorees includes Dick Dellinger, Vickie Ely, Julia Kozicki, John Land, Bryan Mills, Tony Oilar, Rick Towle and Kathy Williams. They will have their formal induction ceremony next month.
