I am proud to say that I have been an Indiana resident all of my life. The first 20 years began in Terre Haute where I attended ISU. I then transferred and received a B.A. in Psychology from Purdue. Boiler Up! My experience working with children began in 1993 when I was both a counselor and Independent Living Director at a therapeutic facility for at-risk youth. I had always wanted to be an educator, so I began attending IWU. Shortly after, I received a degree in Elementary Education. Prior to being a North Star, I taught both Pre-K & K at a local preschool. My classroom experience at North Elementary began  8 + years ago and it has been wonderful! I have been a Resource Aide and have taught 3rd & 4th Grades. I thoroughly enjoy spending each day not only sharing my love of learning with students, but also learning from them!
