HBM Transition Program
The HBM vocational training and education program is for high school students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The goal of the program is to provide students with the opportunity to experience valuable on-the-job training. While this is not a job placement program, HBM prepares students with the tools they will need to lead successful, productive lives after high school.
These opportunties are provided through community-based internships and/ employment. We focus on skill building and assisting students in making their own choices regarding what life path they want to pursue. We assist students and their families with transitioning to the next phase of life after high school, including options for education, training , supports that might be useful to them.
HBM Limitless Transition Program is where students attend in a professional atmosphere and continue their journey into the adult world with opportunities of continuing education, trial work experiences, recreation/leisure, daily living skills, self determination skills, employment skills and more to explore. This community based program prepares students and families for a seamless transition.
