Speak Up App
Noblesville Schools is dedicated to creating a safe environment for all students and staff. The SpeakUp app empowers students to be proactive at the first sign of any concerning behavior so that it can be appropriately addressed in a timely fashion, with a focus on providing assistance and support to students in need. Examples of issues that might be raised through the app could include bullying, harassment, depression, drugs, violence, inappropriate relationships, etc. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Director of Student Services Laura Denis at (317) 773-3171.

VIA Strengths Inventory
Educational research shows that students who have positive relationships with their teachers develop a better sense of value and connection to their school, as well as being motivated to increase academic performance. Creating positive relationships is something we've always believed in at West. This year we are making a concentrated effort to focus on your child's unique strengths. A key component will be to view students from a strengths-based model. The first step begins with the VIA strengths inventory that highlights the individual "Signature Strengths" for our staff & students. Strengths will be a common thread seen in our discussions, interactions and academics this year; staff will have opportunities to meet and plan toward this goal. We encourage you to ask your students about their signature strengths. To learn more about the assessment and/or to take the (free) adult version, please visit the viacharacter.org website.
