    Do you want to be able to have 400 million new friends?  400 million people around the world speak Spanish and now you will be one more!  This year is going to be an exciting year of studying, singing, laughing, dancing, and acting all while learning Spanish.  I am here to help you not only learn a new language but also discover a new culture.  Please ask if you have any questions or need help along the way!

    Spanish 1 is a high school course and may be taken for credit.  It follows the Noblesville High School World Language department grade distribution.

    1. Your grade for Español I will be distributed as the following:

                                        65%    Assessment (Tests/Quizzes)

                                        25%    In-class assignments, Projects           

                                        10%    Homework

    1. The following will be used to calculate the semester grade:

                                         40% first nine weeks

                                         40% second nine weeks

                                         20%   semester exam
