Deaf and Hard of Hearing
The program for the deaf/hard of hearing provides direct and consultative services to both oral and signing students based on their eligibility and IEP goals. Teachers for the deaf and hard of hearing provide these services on an itinerant basis throughout the five school districts housed within the Hamilton Boone Madison Cooperative. They provide support and training to the general education staff and related service professionals regarding the students needs related to their hearing loss, goals and accommodations, and FM systems and other hearing devices.
