• Wellness is a Pass or Fail class. There are four categories that make up the students grades:

          1. Participation (50%) - Students receive 48 participation points for each quarter. Points are deducted   throughout the weeks for lack of effort or participation.

          2. Class Preparedness (30%) - Students receive 48 class preparedness points for each 9 weeks. Points are deducted throughout the weeks for lack of uniform (includes tennis shoes) and lack of journal and/or reflection entries. Students fill out a journal in the locker room that is checked each Monday for 5 points.

          3. Fitness Tests (10%) - Students do 5 fitness tests each quarter for a total of 25 points. The students must keep their scores the same or improve in order to earn their 5 points for each test. Scores for individual fitness tests are the students’ results, not their grade.
