  • This newsletter is written for this past week Sept. 10th and the coming week of September 17th.

Journeys:  There will be a Journey's Test this Friday.

     Reading Workshop:

This past week we started reading mystery books.  The students have done a great job keeping track of suspects and clues while they try to figure out the mystery.   Next week we will continue to read mystery books.

    Writing workshop:

We have started writing true stories.  We thought about small moments we had with certain people as stories we could write.  Now this coming week we will be writing as storytellers.  We are going to try to write like a movie.  Write each part bit by bit.  We spent a lot of time trying to write like a story teller.
