No Journey's test the week of the 21st.
We have finished our mystery unit. During reading workshop next week, we will be doing Project Lead the Way. (Simple Machines)
Today the 18th the students got to read their fractured fairytales to other students. We will finish up the year in writing with a short unit on poetry.
Book ClubsDuring Hawktime, I am taking more time to work on phonics and spelling patterns, so students have less time to read their book club books in class. I am quizzing the students on these words, but I am not recording it as a grade. These should be coming home so that they can finish their reading in time to discuss. They can count this toward their 20 min. of reading each night.
