School Dismissal Manager
Welcome to School Dismissal Manager (SDM), an organized and more efficient tracking system for reporting school absences, appointments, late arrivals, and early dismissals during the school day! Using your desktop or smartphone browser, quickly and easily update your student’s daily attendance, appointments, late arrivals, and early dismissals that occur during the school day making it no longer necessary to call or send notes and emails to the school for dismissal changes.
The safety procedures for students signing in and out at Gates 1 and 5 will remain in place. When creating an exception for the current day, note that the cut-off time on regular days is 3:00 p.m. After the cut-off time, you will need to call the school office to make any changes for the current day.
To get started: The app is compatible with Android and Apple devices, and native apps can be found in the respective app stores or via the school dismissal manager website, www.school dismissal manager.com.
Reporting Student Time:
- Reporting Student Absence:
- Once a submission has been made, you will need to contact the attendance line in order to make any changes or updates.
- SDM does not determine if absences are excused or unexcused and you must still provide the school office with a doctor’s note when required and as specified in our school’s policies.
- Reporting Student to Leave Early: Please allow a 30-minute lead time on an early dismissal in order to give staff enough time to complete the dismissal process. Your student will receive an e-hallpass as before to dismiss them from class AND they must continue to sign in and out at the attendance office per current procedures.
-
Reporting a Late Arrival: We will be utilizing SDM’s Late Arrival feature so that parents can let the school know when their student will be arriving late to school. Select the day on the calendar that your student will be arriving late, then select Add Late Arrival, fill out the reason, and click Submit. SDM does not determine if students are tardy. Students must still report to the attendance office to sign in and adhere to any rules or guidelines specified in our school’s policies.
Important Details:

- Email Notifications: When receiving email notifications regarding dismissal changes or cancellations made, know that hitting Reply or Reply All on those emails does not reply to the school or person making the change.
