Grades 6-12

We want to help parents set healthy screen time habits with their children. With so many new technologies and learning methods introduced every day, your involvement in your child’s learning is more important than ever. To support this, we have partnered with Lightspeed Systems to provide you with visibility and control over your child’s internet usage on school-issued iPads, while at home and during after-school hours.

With the Lightspeed Parent Portal, you have access to:

• The Weekly Student Online Activity Report, sent to your email. This report summarizes your child’s after-school hours web browsing activity for the week.
• The full, web-based portal delivers in-depth visibility and control over your child’s online activity while the device is at home. Know exactly when and what sites are accessed, then pause screens or control app usage as needed (after school hours only). This feature helps parents establish healthy screen time habits.

Please note: This only applies to school-issued iPads after school and is only available for students who take home their district-issued iPad in grades 6-12.
