Mental Health
Social and emotional health is a key component of our strategic plan and we are currently implementing many mental health enhancements within Noblesville Schools to better serve students. Noblesville Schools has a district counseling coordinator and mental health coordinator to enhance and lead efforts in this area.
We offer a full continuum of services to meet the mental wellness needs of all students, including support for topics like stress, anxiety, suicide prevention, coping with challenges, managing strong emotions, and much more.
Our schools are currently staffed with school counselors and school social workers who provide mental wellness, social support and academic services to all students.
Also, through our ongoing partnership with Community Health, we are able to provide enhanced therapy services for students who can benefit from additional support.
Virtual Therapy Through Cartwheel
Noblesville Schools partners with Cartwheel to provide virtual therapy for students with licensed therapists who specialize in child and adolescent mental health.
Students can see a therapist within days and virtual appointments are available mornings, evenings and weekends, so care can fit into your schedule. Please note that sessions must occur outside of the school day and may not be held on school grounds. As these are independent virtual therapy appointments, the school is unable to supervise students during sessions. Care is available in multiple languages and if you have Medicaid, it's completely free. If you have private insurance, Cartwheel is in-network with most plans.
Cartwheel also offers parent guidance sessions—where you can talk with a clinician about what you're seeing and get support for yourself as you figure out how to help your child. You don't have to navigate this alone.
Families can request support through the Noblesville Family Interest Form
