Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching for Noblesville Schools. The application for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.
Choose APPLY in order to begin the application process. Scroll to the bottom of the employment application page, choose 'fill out a new application' and then 'substitute teacher'.
Please be sure to include a valid e-mail address.
If your application is being considered, you will be notified by e-mail of upcoming interview sessions. Interviews are conducted virtually and may be in a group setting.
Substitute Teacher pay rate
$95/day, $47.50/half day assignments
$142.50/day, $71.25/half day for a retired teacher with at least 10 years experience at an accredited public school.
Incentive plan update - this is only viewable to Noblesville Schools employees.
Necessary Documentation:
· Original or high quality copy of transcripts from the highest education obtained. (High school transcripts are acceptable, however, 30 college credits are preferred.)
· A Substitute Teacher Permit or valid Indiana Teaching License/Certificate

**A background check must be completed prior to hire. Minimum cost is $32.60 for certified/ $28.65 for classified.** A link will be sent after a successful interview.
If you are selected to join our substitute teacher team, you will be required to attend a training/orientation session before accepting any teaching assignments. In addition, ALICE safety training is offered monthly and you are required to attend one session within 3 months of hire.
Please note, in order to be a Guest Teacher at Noblesville High School, we require a minimum of 4 years to have passed since receiving your high school diploma.
