Classified Staff Discussion Group

 Classified Staff Discussion Group Core Team: Classified staff members (a blend of elementary, secondary, and district) from the following groups will be represented:

• Food Service
• Building Custodians/Maintenance
• Instructional Assistants
• Transportation
• Secretaries
• Technology Assistants/Media Technology Assistants

Purpose:

• To ensure classified staff members have a voice in our work environment
• To identify core issues, best practices, challenges, and concerns among classified staff members
• To define what professional development is needed to help support our classified staff members to gain new skills
• To ensure classified staff members understand the benefits that are offered to them
• To allow time for structured conversations, as well as informal sharing

District Classified Staff Meeting time/location: The Classified Staff Discussion Group will meet monthly (1st Monday of the month) at 4:15 p.m. at the Educational Services Center. This is a voluntary commitment.
