Must be used to support classroom instruction
- 96% of this fund goes to teacher and staff salaries and benefits
- It also covers guidance services, media services, school administration and instructional supplies
The following funding sources provide money for the Education Fund
- The Indiana basic tuition funding formula per student
- Additional state funding based on the percentage of low income and foster care students
- State grant funds to support additional needs in special education, career and technical education, and with non-English speaking students
- Summer school reimbursement
- Interest on investments
Noblesville Schools receives less money per student in this fund than most other districts in Indiana due to the state’s funding model that bases dollars on the socio economic mix of our community. Noblesville Schools is in the bottom six percent of per student funding from the state.
