Delivery of Content and Communication with Students

Teachers are encouraged to use the district Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas. You can use it to deliver a variety of resources and activities for all of your classes, including: 

• Two-way communication with students and parents
• Posting lesson plans on content pages
• Organizing and distribution of curricular materials 
• Recording and uploading audio and video messages
• Online discussions
• Web conferencing for live class meetings or online sessions where students learn at the same time via direct instruction
• Canvas and Big Blue Button Tutorial - Video chat application built into Canvas. 
• Quizzes and other assessments
• Using Canvas during a school closure (from Instructure)
