Resources for Extended Online Learning
Delivery of Content and Communication with Students
Teachers are encouraged to use the district Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas. You can use it to deliver a variety of resources and activities for all of your classes, including:
- Two-way communication with students and parents
- Posting lesson plans on content pages
- Organizing and distribution of curricular materials
- Recording and uploading audio and video messages
- Online discussions
- Web conferencing for live class meetings or online sessions where students learn at the same time via direct instruction
- Canvas and Big Blue Button Tutorial - Video chat application built into Canvas.
- Quizzes and other assessments
- Using Canvas during a school closure (from Instructure)
