Vision: Students and staff are engaged in intellectual pursuits, inspired to challenge the present, and empowered to adapt, innovate, and succeed today and tomorrow.
Curriculum: To improve student learning through inquiry-based instruction
Metrics: Instructional rounds rubric data, records of steps completed, electronic documentation of learning, PD conducted, PD evaluations, classroom observations, ISTEP Test Scores, ECA scores, number of 4 star schools, number of National Merit Semi-Finalists and Finalists, NWEA growth, graduation rates.
Assessment: To improve student learning, guide instruction, and inform professional development through analysis of various assessment results
Metrics: Records of steps completed, information collected, PD conducted, PD evaluations, existence of curriculum maps, performance tasks, ISTEP Test Scores, ECA scores, number of 4 star schools, number of National Merit Semi-Finalists and Finalists, NWEA growth, graduation rates
Effective Resource Allocation: To seek, organize and optimize resources to increase academic opportunities and enhance results
Metrics: Balanced budget, number of partnerships developed, completed sponsorship guidelines, completed School Finance 101 course, number of online lessons completed by staff, successful referendum
Recruitment and Retention Goal: To create a highly desirable workplace environment that attracts, develops, and retains talented staff
Metrics: Numbers of new and retained teachers, salary comparison charts, number of PD sessions attended and PD evaluations
Relationship Goal: To strengthen internal and external relationships to build trust for future planning
Metrics: Number of meetings with city, county, state, and business leaders, number of collaborative endeavors, participation on community boards, number of meetings with teachers, PTO’s, number of visitors at Table Talk, results from end of year staff surveys regarding ESC staff, school visitation logs, communication documents, meeting agenda’s and notes
