Wil Hampton leads NSEF as presidentWil Hampton serves as president the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports Noblesville’s public schools through its grant and scholarship programs. He joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2007.“It’s an honor to be selected to lead an organization that works tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of Noblesville’s young people,” Hampton said. He noted that the Foundation funds grants that bring enriching lessons and projects to the schools.
“With the support of our community and through a variety of fundraising activities, the Foundation has been able to fund a number of grants for classrooms in each one of our schools,” he said.
The board reviews grant requests from teachers twice a year.
“We closely examine each request and work together with teachers to ensure that we are providing funding that will be of the greatest benefit to our students. Each year we support a variety of projects that span the curriculum in all grades and all schools,” he said.
A native of Muncie, Hampton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Mississippi. He and his wife, Becky, have three children, a sophomore at Ball State University and two freshmen at Noblesville High School.
Hampton is executive director of athletic events, sponsorship, and marketing at Marian University in Indianapolis.
