Hello! My name is Stephen Harmas. I grew up in Noblesville and attended Stony Creek Elementary, Noblesville Intermediate, Noblesville Middle and Noblesville High School. I graduated in 2007 with an Academic honors diploma and played basketball for the Noblesville Millers from 7th grade year until the end of my senior year. I ended my basketball career obtaining the MVP of Hamilton County and first team all HCC. I then attended IU: Bloomington where I graduated in 2011 with a SPEA Legal studies degree and a Criminal Justice minor. I decided law school was not for me and volunteered a year for the Noblesville 7th grade basketball team. I loved seeing players grow, learn and look up to me as a role model and that is when I chose a new path of education. I got my degree from the IWU Transition to Teaching program and while doing so worked as an Instructional Assistant at Promise Road Elementary for two years. At that time I also continued to coach 7th grade basketball at Noblesville East Middle School. I continue to live in Noblesville with my wife, Sarah, who works at Stony Creek as a Kindergarten teacher and Miller my 10 month old Sheprador.
I am excited to start my first year at Noblesville West Middle School and I look forward to helping your child in any way I can, from academics and beyond.
