Mrs. Gaskill
Hello and welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Jenni Gaskill. I am a 1996 graduate of Indiana University (B.S. in Elementary Education) and a 2005 graduate of Ball State (M.A. in Special Education). I have been working here at Hazel Dell Elementary for 16 years and am excited to start a new year with your child. I have been fortunate enough to spend my entire teaching career here at Hazel Dell, and there is no place I’d rather be than surrounded by this wonderfully dedicated group of educators, parents, and students. Getting to witness the students’ amazing progress from the start to the end of each school year is the most rewarding part of my job. We will work hard in our classroom each and every day to help your child learn many new things and reach his/her learning goals.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, two boys (ages 5 and 8), and I live in Noblesville not too far from Hazel Dell. Between work, school, and the boys’ activities, I feel like I am in constant motion all day long! You can often find us on a field of some sort (baseball, football, soccer… you name it!) or at the hockey rink. We also love to cheer on our Indianapolis Colts during football season and the Hoosiers during basketball season. When we’ve got an extended break, we like to hop in the car for a road trip… sometimes to Chicago to visit family, and sometimes (when we’re lucky) to the beach!
