I have been an educator since graduating from Manchester College (now Manchester University) in North Manchester, Indiana in 1981. I had the privilege of teaching in many different places before coming to Noblesville Schools in 1999 to serve as White River Elementary School's first Library Media Specialist -- St. Mary Parish, Louisiana; Brownsville, Texas; Loudon County, Tennessee; John Glenn School Corporation in Walkerton, Indiana; and Anoka-Hennepin County, Minnesota.
I came to Noble Crossing four years ago as a first grade teacher. I enjoy teaching first grade very much! First graders are naturally curious about their world and eager to learn.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my granddaughters. Renee is 4; Aaliyah is 3; and Reagan will be 1 in October.
On this page you'll find a picture of me when I was in first grade and a picture of my first grade teacher, Mrs. Adkins. I have wonderful memories of first grade and my first grade teacher. I hope all my first graders leave my classroom with fond memories, too.
