Hi my name is Anne Maslanka and I am one of the Lifeskills teachers at West. I am originally from Evansville Indiana where I attended the University of Southern Indiana. I have been at Noblesville West Middle School since 2013 and have enjoyed every minute of working for Noblesville Schools.
I started my career in St. Charles, MO working as a Cross Categorical teacher working with students in grades 1-5. I worked there for two years and decided it was time to move back to Indiana. I got a job implementing the Functional Academics Program at Creekside Middle School. After working at Creekside for a year I was given a wonderful opportunity to work at The Applied Behavior Center for Autism. I really enjoyed working with some amazing students as well as being trained by very talented BCBA's. Although I loved being a therapist, I missed being a teacher and decided to go back into the school system. For three years I worked as a Life skills teacher at Brook Park Elementary School in Lawrence Township Schools but decided after having my daughter in 2012 it was time to look for a job closer to home (Westfield) which is how I ended up in Noblesville. I love my job and working with middle school students.
