About Your Teacher
Welcome to a new school year, with new teachers, and new schedules! With all the new processes, I would like to give you some background on my teaching. I recently moved to Noblesville from Grand Junction, Colorado where I lived for the past 3 years. While in Grand Junction, I taught math and literacy in a middle school setting resource classroom. This is my fourth year teaching in the resource setting. I have a Master's Degree in Education in Special Education that I earned from Ball State University. I have also taught Health Education in the high school setting and I was an elementary RTI math and reading interventionist.
My favorite things about being a teacher is the moment when students understand a new concept. I call it the "ah ha" moment. I look forward to sharing many "ah ha" moments with students this year through a goal-oriented classroom. I also share in Noblesville Schools vision of inspiring, empowering, and engaging students everyday. In my classroom I strive to bring rigor and build positive relationships. I believe strongly in self-advocacy and in building skills for life-long success and love of learning. I am excited to be part of your community and part of your student's success.
I am available through e-mail at megan_bilbo@nobl.k12.in.us or during school hours from 7:10 am - 3:15 pm. Have a wonderful year!
