Thought flows in terms of stories -- stories about events, stories about people, and stories about intentions and achievements. The best teachers are the best storytellers. We learn in the form of stories. ~ Frank Smith
My Story
I grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania, and my parents were both teachers. I am grateful to my mom and dad for passing down their love of teaching to me!
This will be my twenty-second year as an educator. In addition to working in Noblesville Schools, I taught in Littleton Public Schools, Colorado. I’ve held positions as a middle school language arts teacher, an elementary classroom teacher, a remedial reading specialist, and a language arts high ability teacher.
My husband and I enjoy living in Noblesville. Both of our children attended Noblesville Schools K-12; it was a pleasure to be a parent and work in the same district. In my free time, I love to read, watch movies, and travel.
I look forward to each new school year and a chance to help my students find purpose and passion for reading and writing!
