Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Miss Caldwell and this is my fifth year of teaching as a Hazel Dell Hawk! To give you a little background about myself - I grew up in Kokomo, IN where my family still resides!  My mom is enjoying retirement while my dad is enjoying his teaching life as the band director for Western Schools in Russiaville, IN.  I have a younger brother, Brad, who works for a time management company in downtown Indianapolis. I graduated in 2005 from Ball State University with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Kindergarten and primary grades. This will be my eighth year of teaching and my fourth year in Kindergarten. I previously taught 4th grade for three years at Western Intermediate School in Russiaville, Indiana.  Besides my career and my students, I have many other loves in my life! I am a huge crafter and naturally Pinterest is my happy place!  I have a rescue sheltie named Murphy and a cat named Marlee who both keep me busy and laughing! Outside of school, I try to stay busy exercising, keeping in touch with friends, cooking, baking, and reading!  Kindergarten keeps me busy but I wouldn't have it any other way!  I love the adventure and laughter my students bring to school each and every day!
