I am thrilled to be joining the second grade team at Stony Creek! I love this age and all the fun things we learn and do together. I started my career at White River Elementary as a Title 1 teacher. There, I worked with small groups to help below-level readers gain the necessary growth to catch up to grade level. After having this position for a year and a half I got my own classroom teaching morning kindergarten at Forest Hill Elementary. The next year I moved back to White River to teach a year of kindergarten and a year of second grade. My heart was with kindergarten and I transferred to Stony Creek and taught kindergarten here for seven years. 

 

I'm not just a teacher though. I am a wife of 14 years and a mother of three, Ava (11), Ellie (8) and Bennett (6). We live here in Noblesville and I love seeing my past and present students during my Meijer trips. I enjoy raising chickens,  reading, movies and shopping on my free time. I love collecting gnomes and I am almost always found with a Starbucks in my hand. I look forward to getting to know you and your secind grade student this year!
