Welcome to the Class of Champions!
I grew up in Evansville, Indiana. Most of my immediate family still resides in that area, but since graduating from college, I have made central Indiana my home.
I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I graduated with 2 degrees. In addition to having a degree in Elementary Education, I also have a degree in Political Science. I obtained my masters in school administration from Butler University.
I am entering my eighteenth year of teaching. I taught first grade for one year, fourth grade for four years, and third grade for five years, fifth grade for four years, and sixth grade for three years.
I have been married to my husband Rich for seventeen wonderful years. We are the proud parents of Ryan and Carly. They both attend Hinkle Creek; Ryan is in fifth grade, and Carly is in second grade. We are also the proud parents of Wrigley, our beloved Beagle. Wrigley’s favorite pastime is to snuggle! “He’s a good dog, Charlie Brown!”
I have always loved playing many different sports. In middle school and high school, I played volleyball, softball, and basketball, and I also ran track. Since I graduated from college, I still enjoy playing volleyball and basketball. I also like to play golf and ride bikes. When I am not participating in these sports, Ryan, Carly, and I enjoy being spectators at my husband’s 8th grade basketball games.
I am looking forward to a great year with all of you. I cannot wait to begin our journey together!
