Resource

  • Students with special needs are helped through services provided by the Hamilton-Boone-Madison Special Services Cooperative and Noblesville Schools. Eligibility for services is based on a referral process, testing and parental consent. An Individual Educational Plan (IEP) is developed to address the needs of each student. Students with IEPs are invited to enroll in classes offered by the Resource Department. These classes emphasize remediation and life skill applications. Resource support is also available through general education in required academic classes to students having IEPs.

The Resource Department offers the following programs:
    • Support for students on diploma track
    • Support for  students on non-diploma track
    • Support for  mild to moderate cognitively handicapped students through the Life Skills program
    • Support for severe cognitively handicapped students through the FIATS program
