Mrs. Nancy Henry

Hello! My name is Nancy Henry and I am so excited to be the Art Teacher at White River Elementary! Let me introduce myself. I have been an Art Teacher for many years all over the country! I am from Michigan and attended Michigan State for my undergraduate work in Art Education and The University of Arizona for my Masters in Art Education. I love teaching children to be visually literate! Art is a basic and the creative possibilities are limitless! My philosophy is to explore, discover, practice, create, involve, and stimulate the artist in each child through art history, literature, media and techniques, interests, expression, and local and worldwide events. Every child is an artist!
