Mr. Ryan Bruick

I started teaching in 2003 at Wheaton Warrenville South High School and moved to Noblesville in 2007. I currently teach Chemistry and Engineering and have also taught multiple levels of Physics.  I spend half my work schedule teaching, and half as an instructional coach, which means I get to work with several of our outstanding educators on a daily basis to help our school community work toward improving student learning.

After school I coach girls' Cross Country in the fall and boys' and girls' Pole Vault in the spring.  I am a National Honor Society advisor and serve on the Professional Development Committee.  During the summers I try to differentiate what I do year to year, spending time doing Biochemical R&D in Colorado, teaching Chemistry Education courses for Notre Dame and University of Illinois Chicago, or working on new curriculum development for high school science.

My favorite part about teaching is helping students understand how they learn.  I use my excitement and passion for teaching science to coach student learning.  My current passions include the history of Engineering and the neuroscience and pathology of learning.
