Mrs. Wielgos
This is Mrs. Wielgos's 8th year teaching at Noble Crossing Elementary, where she loves to share her passion for art with all her young aspiring artists.
Mrs. Wielgos attended St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was fortunate to have studied a semester in Rome, Italy, which enabled her to visit art museums throughout Europe and greatly informed her degree in art history.
She began her teaching career at the fourth through ninth grade Stanley Clark School in South Bend, Indiana. She and her husband, Wayne, have been married for 34 years. They have two daughters, Lindsey and Lauren. Both daughters are graduates from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Lindsey lives and works as a professional fundraiser in New York City. Lauren graduated in the summer of 2013 and is working in Boulder, CO.
Mrs. Wielgos has many hobbies, including gardening, reading, traveling (especially to visit art museums!), and experimenting with new types of media. Her favorite type of art to create is mixed media collage using recycled, or “upcycled”, and repurposed items.
She is thankful to be teaching at Noble Crossing Elementary alongside such a dedicated staff.
