Senior Important Things to Do

    • Check your schedule to make sure you are taking every class you need for the diploma you are seeking.  Visit your School Counselor immediately if your schedule is incorrect. 
    • Meet with college admissions and military representatives who visit NHS during lunch.  Take 3 College/Career/Military visits each semester.  Stop by the Counseling Office or click here to download your College, Career, and Military Visit Form.
    • Attend the scheduled NHS presentations to learn more about Postsecondary Planning and Financial Aid.  Check the Calendar and listen to announcements for details.
    • Take the SAT and ACT  if you need to for college admissions or scholarship contention. See "Important Dates for Seniors" below. Register for the SAT at www.sat.collegeboard.org.  Register for the ACT at www.actstudent.org
    • Register for the NCAA clearinghouse if you are a prospective Division I or Division II athlete at www.eligibilitycenter.org.  Registration is mandatory!
    • File the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov by April 15 if you plan to attend post-secondary school next year.  Go online to register for college and scholarship/financial aid searches.
