Mrs. Adrienne Kavanaugh

Hello Parent(s) or Guardian(s),

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year!  As your child’s teacher, I am very excited to get to know and work with you and your child.  This year will mark the start of my 15th year teaching here in Noblesville Schools. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, both personally and professionally. I grew up just 15 minutes south of here in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School in 1997.  I attended college at the University of Toledo and earned my B.A. in special education focusing on Learning and Mildly/Moderate Disabilities in 2001 with honors.  I was also a member of the swimming and diving team competing at a division one level.  Prior to having children, I completed my masters degree in education from Olivet University.

I am happily married to my husband, Mike, of 13 years.  I have two energetic boys, Liam (9) and Keegan (7).  Mike, the boys and I reside on the north side of Indianapolis.

Outside of school I enjoy being outside, watching sports (Da Bears), and being with friends.

My mission or goal is to give positive motivation and set high expectations for each child, so they will reach and achieve their maximum level of performance, whether in class or in social situations.  I will make each child feel that they are unique and special in order to build their self-confidence.  I will treat them with honor, respect and dignity.  I will be the best teacher I can be and I will do whatever it takes to make sure every child becomes successful so as to give them the desire to be a life long learner.  I will hold myself accountable if I do not meet every child’s needs inside of my classroom, and I will hold my students accountable if they do not meet my expectations.

I look forward to working with you and your child this year.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this year or your child.  Communication, involvement, and support between us are the best aspects to help your child succeed this year.  Let’s work together to be the best!
