Beginning in the fall of 2008, in anticipation of the cuts in the funding formula for 2010 and to reverse the existing trend of expenditures exceeding revenue due to rising costs, Noblesville Schools cut costs by $2.1 million.

The school district’s Budget Review Committee studied the expenditures and contained costs in the areas as shown below.
