• Reduce Transitions:
Reduce one transition by creating K-5 elementary schools and two middle schools with grades 6, 7, and 8. One middle school will remain at the current location on North 17th Street. The other middle school will be in the current intermediate school building on Hague Road. Each school would have 1,090 students (based on current enrollment). Fifth-grade students from the intermediate school would return to the elementary schools to create K-5 elementary programs. Plan includes the option of all-day kindergarten.
