His name is Beaureguard. During this meeting stories are told about the dog and their owner or just the dog. They call these stories dog diaries.

Down the Colorado is a book of adventure. I like it because of its adventure. The main character is a 7-year-old boy named John Wesley Powell, who grew up in Jackson, Ohio. His father was a very popular man, but one day they sold their house and headed out to Wisconsin. When the family moved to a prairie in Illinois, Wes's father said he's old enough at 17 to go enter the ministry. Nevertheless he refused to go. He wanted to be a scientist instead. Later, he decided to go on a journey down an unknown river. To find out what happened you'll have to read it. The publisher is Douglas and McIntyre Ltd. and the cost is $17.00 in hard cover. It would be enjoyable for ages 7 to 17 and older.

In the book Library Mouse a mouse named Sam lived in a little hole behind the children's reference books. He thought life was very fine indeed. Sam LOVED to read. Sam liked to read picture books, chapter books, biographies, poetry, ghost stories and mystery books.
One night he said, ''Why don't I write some books myself?'' Sam wrote a book about himself, about a lonely cheese, and a book called The Mystery of Mouse Mansion.
Sam shared his books with the library visitors by placing his books on a shelf at night when nobody was there. Until there came a day when the library visitors wanted to know whom this Sam was. Whatever was Sam to do?
If I could change one thing about this book I would make it more exciting and have a little more detail, maybe even show us his books he wrote.
I would recommend this book to children under the age of 8 or in the second grade. Library Mouse is $15.95 hard cover and the publisher is Abrams Books for Young Readers, New York.
Library Mouse is a great book made for (in my opinion) people who want inspiration.

It helps us enjoy reading and our knowledge about different animals. Here is an example "Under this feathered belly, it's cozy and warm. The egg is safe from the icy Antarctic storm." Can you figure out what is growing inside this egg?
I like this book, but there is one thing I would do to improve it. It would be to add more animals to learn about and guess what they are. I think that this book is good for ages 4-8. For ages 4-8 I think would be a good worthwhile book, but for ages 9 and up may get a little boring. Even though I'm 10 I enjoyed it, but I think some people would just pass this book without someone pointing it out.
Here is some background information about the book. The cost - in English is $15.95 (hardback) and in Spanish $16.95 (hardback) the Publisher, Millbrook Press, Minneapolis. The title again, Guess What is Growing Inside This Egg.
