Dr. Libbie Conner leads Noblesville Schools as its superintendent.
Dr. Conner, a former principal at Noblesville Middle School, became superintendent in July of 2009.
She had served Carmel Clay Schools for eleven years, first as a director and then assistant superintendent in the Division of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and later as an assistant superintendent in the Division of Human Resources.
Dr. Conner was principal at Noblesville Middle School from July 1992 until January 1998, an assistant principal at NMS from July 1990 until June 1992, and a science teacher from 1985 until 1990.
Dr. Conner received her Superintendents' License in 2005 from Indiana University, her Doctorate of Educate in School Administration/Curriculum and Instruction in 1995 from Indiana University, her Administrators' License in 1990 from Indiana University, her Masters of Science in Secondary Science Teaching in 1976 from Indiana State University, and her Bachelor of Science with a major in life science in 1969 from Indiana State University.
She received the Indiana University Berkeley Emerging Leadership Award in 2000. While principal at NMS, she was named district Middle Level Principal of the Year.
