Parents and guardians of children enrolled in Noblesville Schools during the 2009-10 school year may re-enroll their children online by accessing the registration page.

Usernames and passwords to allow access to the site were distributed to children in kindergarten through grade 6 in mid-May.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS: As of Monday, July 12, Access to PowerSchool is again open for parents who still need to re-enroll their middle school students for the 2010-11 school year. This access is for registration purposes only.

Parents of students in grades 5-6 and 9-12 may re-enroll their children by using the parent's current PowerSchool login and password at the registration site.

When parents log in they will be able to access their child's demographic information. Parents are asked to review the information and either verify it or make the necessary changes. Packets of information for the upcoming school year will be available for download.

Schools open July 21-22 for registration


Parents who do not have access to e-mail or a computer may update enrollment information at their child's school on July 21 and 22 during registration at the schools. This also is the time for students in grades K-8 who are new to Noblesville Schools to register.

• Elementary school offices will be open from 9-11:30 a.m., 1-3 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, and from 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, July 22.

• Noblesville Intermediate School will be open from 9-11:30 a.m., 1-3 p.m, and 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, and 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, July 22.

• Noblesville Middle School will be open from 9-11:30 a.m., 1-3 p.m, and 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, and 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, July 22. This time is reserved for parents of students attending Noblesville Schools for the first time. Parents may schedule an appointment during these hours to meet with a counselor if they need to provide details that may impact their child's course placement and class schedule.

Small group question-and-answer sessions and school tours will be offered from 8-9 a.m. on August 4, 5, and 6. Student Council representatives will conduct the brief tours for

• To enroll a high school student who is new to Noblesville Schools, parents should call the guidance office at 776-6257 to schedule an appointment with a guidance counselor. Appointments may be scheduled throughout the summer.

Parents of high school students who want to check and update information on PowerSchool and need access to a computer may visit the main office at the main campus from 7 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the summer.

School Year Calendar


• Students in grades 1-12 return to school on Wednesday, August 11.

• Student/parent orientation for kindergarten students will be on Wednesday, August 11. The first regular day of class for kindergartners wil be Thursday, August 12.

• Early Childhood classes will begin on Monday, August 16.

News from the high school


NHS Main /Campus Textbook Distribution
Students in grades 10 - 12 are invited to pick up their textbooks early at the NHS Main Campus. Students may pick up their books in room 502 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. according to the following schedule.
- Sophomores and students new to NHS: Monday and Tuesday, August 2 and 3
- Juniors: Wednesday and Thursday, August 4 and 5
- Seniors: Friday and Monday, August 6 and 9

Students who are unable to pick up their books at these times may do so before or after school or during their lunches on the first days of school.

Open House
Parents are invited to the NHS Open House at both the Main Campus and the Freshman Campus from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18. No scheduled programs or meetings are planned. Teachers will be available in their classrooms to greet you, answer questions about their course curricula, materials, grading practices, and more.

Main Campus Orientation
Sophomores and students in grades 11 and 12 who are new to the NHS Main Campus are invited to a brief orientation to the building. Students may choose to attend either Monday, August 2, or Tuesday, August 3. The orientation will be offered from 10 – 11 a.m. both days. The sessions will begin in the junior-senior cafeteria. Students will receive their schedules, tour the building, locate their lockers, and have an opportunity to ask questions about procedures at the Main Campus. Students may also pick up their textbooks after the orientation. Parents are welcome to attend.

Miller Kick-Off 2010 - Freshman Orientation
Miller Kick-Off is an orientation day for freshmen at the freshman campus. This year's kick-off will be from 9 a.m.-noon on Thursday, August 5. Click here for more information and to register for Miller Kick-Off.

Cafeteria News


Free or Reduced Meal Information:

The 2010-11 meal application will be mailed to all households during the week of July 19. Please only fill out ONE application per household.

If you currently receive food stamps and/or TANF benefits, you should receive a letter from us stating that you are automatically qualified for meal benefits. If the letter you receive does not reflect all students in your household, please contact our office at 773-3171.

New students to the district will need to pick up an application from their student's school to complete and return.

Lunch and breakfast prices will be the same as the past school year.
• Extra milk - 45 cents
• Elementary lunch - $1.70
• NMS lunch - $1.85
• NHS lunch - $1.85
• Breakfast (all schools) - $1.25
• Adult lunch - $2.75
• Adult breakfast - $1.75

PayPAMS will not accept payments until Aug. 1. Accounts may be viewed throughout the summer.

Book rental


Book rental statements will be sent to families after Labor Day.
