Full Day Kindergarten - No Longer a Pay for Service Program!
Noblesville Schools is pleased to announce some very exciting news regarding the funding of full-day kindergarten. The General Assembly recently passed a bill directing additional funds to schools in order to support the expansion of full-day kindergarten programs across the state. As a result, starting in the 2012-13 school year, Noblesville Schools will no longer charge parents for their child’s participation in the full-day kindergarten program. It is important to note that kindergarten students will still pay book rental fees similar to other grade levels, but will not have to pay the fee to attend the full-day kindergarten class.
Children must be five years old on or before August 1 to be enrolled in kindergarten.
Please contact your elementary school’s principal if you have additional questions related to full-day kindergarten.
